My Country
Our country lies in South Asia, in the northern part of the Indian Subcontinent; it was named as Pakistan on August 14, 1947 and separated from India after a long struggle of six decades to safeguard its language, culture and its identity. Our country has glorious history and beautiful culture, where ancient civilization flourished through ages. It was once known as Land of the Pure (Nue Kamran) by Alexander The Great due to its people’s faith in one God alone.
Why I Love MY COUNTRY
This essay is about my country, Pakistan. My country is a beautiful country. It is dear to us because of many reasons. In every corner of my country , I find wonders which I never thought were possible in nature. The best part of living in my country is when there are so many festivals like Eid, Diwali, Christmas etc.
My thoughts about my country
Pakistan is a beautiful country. It is dear to us because we belong here, it's our country. Pakistan has many cultures and many religions live together in peace and harmony. There are different kinds of natural beauty that we have in Pakistan like desert and lush green fields, snow covered mountains, cold waterfalls, deep valleys etc. Our culture is very old & rich with traditions of bravery & chivalry that may be found nowhere else in all over world except here in Pakistan.
Our Heritage
Pakistan is also known as My country. It has a large number of rivers and mountains. Pakistan has a population of around one hundred and seventy million people. The current name of our country is Pakistan which means land of Pak. Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who was born in Karachi (now in Pakistan) is said to be responsible for creation of Pakistan. We share borders with Afghanistan, China, India and Iran . We have five provinces Punjab , Sindh , Khyber Pakhtunkhwa , Balochistan and Azad Kashmir . We are Muslim majority country but we also have Hindus, Christians and Sikhs living in Pakistan with full rights granted by our constitution . Our national sport is hockey where we take part in many competitions worldwide like Olympics games , Asian games etc.

This country is an Islamic Republic having four provinces: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan. All these four provinces are sub-divided into thirty one administrative units called as districts. Our national anthem Muqadiray Murdabad, flag and national emblem etc are symbols of our great country which show that it is ours for us to protect, preserve and present before whole world with dignity and honour.
